ICREA Prof. Clivia Sotomayor Torres & Prof. Cecilia Laschi discuss the FET projects they coordinated, the recently concluded PHENOMEN, which aimed to lay the foundations of a new information technology, & OCTOPUS, which focused on designing a new generation of soft-bodied robots. Both will speak to the challenges addressed, potential societal impacts, results and successes of their projects as well as elaborating on their thoughts and experiences as women in the STEM field.
